FTP

FTP (File Transfer Protocol) allows you to upload web pages, images and other files to your website.

You can upload your files using shareware or commercial FTP clients such as: CuteFTP, FlashFXP, FTP Voyager, CoffeeCup or WS_FTP.

If you create your websites on Macromedia Dreamweaver, Adobe GoLive or Microsoft FrontPage, FTP is the accepted standard for these programs.

If you wish to use your FrontPage extensions, you should use the "Publish Web" in Microsoft FrontPage to upload your website rather than FTP.
